Lendrum Spinning Wheel The Lendrum combines portability with the "feel" of a stay-at-home wheel. Many spinners who keep a larger, less portable wheel at home have a Lendrum as their second wheel. When you're actually sitting and spinning, the best thing about the Lendrum is its versatility. Options added in recent years have given it the spinning range to handle a wide variety of tasks. |
Louet Spinning Wheel The wheels have a single belt bobbin drive with an adjustable flyer brake to regulate the tension. The fact that it is easy to learn to spin on our wheels, proves their functional quality. The orifice on the standard wheel is sufficiently large Ø 13mm as are the bobbins with 150-200 gram capacity. With one exception, all wheels come equipped with a two bobbin lazy kate. |

Thermohair® Socks
Thermohair® Socks were developed in 1992 by Theresa Bergeron , founder of Thermohair Inc., when no one in the hosiery business would consider knitting socks with mohair. The socks are made of kid mohair, which is the first hair clipped from the young goat kid. This particular hair is fine and soft; the most rare and expensive of mohair grades. It has the softness of cashmere with the strength of mohair. The socks are constructed in a looped sequence for cushioning, and are blended with 25% nylon for stretch. The socks are knit on several very old commercial knitting machines that require lots of pampering to keep them working. Socks are made in both ladies' and mens' shoe sizes from 5 in ladies to a 13 in mens. |
